The lodge was delighted to receive the province's "TLC Teddies" team at its July meeting. TLC Teddies is a masonic charity that distributes teddy bears to sick children in hospitals and hospices.
At the second rising the team gave a short talk on the history of this very good cause, and revealed that the live total of the number of teddies distributed in the province now exceeds 93,000 - a fantastic amount!
Later on, members donated over £200 to the team at the festive board and received in return a giant teddy bear - this will be raffled off at a later date.
