On 30th November 2021, members of the Chapter De Lambton were finally able to celebrate their bicentenary (which was achieved on 22nd May 2020), following the resumption of masonic activity from the coronavirus pandemic.

Michael Stuart Shaw addresses the Companions

The Chapter was opened in due form and the companions welcomed the Provincial Deputy Grand Superintendent, E Comp. Michael Stuart Shaw, PGSwdB and other officers of the Provincial Grand Chapter of Durham. The Companions then received a lecture by E Comps Andy Knapper, Rob Hardman and Raine Gregson, after which the bicentenary charter was read. The companions assembled then affixed their centenary jewels with bicentenary bars, and the Chapter was closed in due form.

The companions repaired to the Bewick Laverick Suite for dinner, wine and song. A most engaging after dinner address was given by the Provincial Deputy Grand Superintendent, after which the winners of the charity raffle were announced. The festivities concluded at 11pm.
